Kris’ Bio

He was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, United States. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Studio with a concentration in Graphic Design.

He started his career as a graphic designer and illustrator for his state’s health department, eventually being promoted to art and photography director. He worked for Squarespace on their product support team, and authored two books about Squarespace—Squarespace For Dummies and Squarespace 6 For Dummies. His primary job is working for a user experience company helping corporations create usable and friendly websites and applications.

Kris is currently working on his first graphic novel for young readers. It's about a girl, her dog, and wanting to eat more than one doughnut.

He’s married to a wonderful, strong, brave, and supportive woman. Maybe you’ve heard of her? They have two smart, sweet, and beautiful kids; a hound dog; but no cats—three of the four of them are allergic.
